Betsy is howling with excitement for her new food chi dog elements As a human doctor, I completely believe in and promote food as medicine and when Betsy’s integrative medicine doctor at northstar_vetsre commended this diet to help supplement her cancer treatment plan, I was all ears! For cancer, it was recommended that I support Betsy’s innate ability to heal by giving her Cooling foods so we are starting with the Fire Diet(turkey). This diet helps support conditions of inflammation as well as other benefits! We’ll see how she does on the Fire Diet and may consider integrating the Earth Diet (egg and tofu).

So pleased with the Chi food. I have seen so much improvement in one of my dogs that had a terrible limp and spent a lot of time and money at our vet with no results. She was free of limping after less than a month. Ordering was easy and they were open to any changes I had to make each month.

Happy little dog! Our poor pickle of a dog gave himself acute kidney failure due to getting into food he should not along with a previously unknown kidney condition. On returning from the vet, knowing he would not do well on a traditional prescription renal diet, I cooked some of the recipes online and ordered the meal kit. He LOVES the food! Within 1 day he perked up, his fur is silky and he is itching less. Sadly, it has not 100% cured our little guy, but he is much better. Hi Dr Susan, I started using a chi dog for my senior dog before she passed on, she loved the food despite being the pickiest eater. Before losing Cleo I got my Aussie, Boogie, who I found out at 7 months was born with a severe heart condition so I started feeding him your food as well. Boogie was approved for heart surgery in Colorado but when we got there and did the echocardiogram they found that Boogies heart was no longer as enlarged and a band of tissue had formed that severely limited the major leakage he once had. Boogie was no longer recommended for surgery and his condition has improved from severe to moderate. Boogie is on heart medicine as well but he loves his food from chi dog. Thanks for reading.

Hi my name is TaHso. I am a rescued male Standard French Poodle who was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. I had a terrible belly ache until 2 doctors suggested this wonderful and special food called Chi Dog (I eat the fire diet) and my IBD has improved dramatically. One of my favorite things is when the box is delivered and I can follow it to the freezer and know it will soon be coming my way.

Oona was diagnosed as a young adult with Mega Esophagus. We spent one year with 7 different vets that recommended changing her dry kibble to stop the retching, honking and moaning. Oliver has been doing great on the food. Oliver is a 13.5 year old deaf Dalmatian/poodle mix. Over the years, he started to develop small fatty deposits (bumps) on his stomach. We had been keeping an eye on them and had our vet check on them during his yearly exams. We switched from traditional dry dog food to Chi Dog, Water diet in October. Since that time, most of Oliver’s fatty deposits have disappeared! He has a few remaining that were larger in size but I expect that over time, those will continue to decrease in size as well. It was a very lucky day almost a year ago, when one of the veterinarians at the clinic I took my beautiful Jack Russell, Tyler to recommended Chi Dog. We were trying to figure out why he was continuing to drink huge amounts of water all day every day. The belief he had Cushings disease was the prevalent conclusion. He had gone through numerous tests, ultra sounds, X-rays. Two small nodules were found on his kidneys, but this is common in middle aged dogs. Ulcers were ruled out. I was so frustrated and worried. When the vet suggested Chi-dog, I thought why not. We had experience with acupuncture & homeopathic medications also to no avail. Why not homeopathic type food. Tyler was on a very well-known high quality kibble. So I called Chi dog, I spoke with Susan one of the Doctor/owners. She was wonderful. We discussed all of Tyler’s issues. She listened and suggested ideas & finally we decided on a recipe of food. The food was shipped in a recycled box on dry ice. When I defrosted some to feed, I was so impressed. It smelled & tasted (yes I taste my dog’s food) wonderful. Chunks of real meat & vegetables, I could identify. I figured if Tyler & my other dog Chloe did not like it, I would eat it myself. About a month later, Tyler’s water consumption started declining. He seemed to feel better, more energy and happier. Back to his very jack russell self. We have not looked back. We tweaked his food a little, went from pork to turkey. My dogs love the food, and I love the company & people as well. Heela was having some major Gi issues in the past, being a Shiba they do have sensitive systems. Since I have had her on Chi Dog Wood Dietwe have not had to deal with that at all. She is very regular, full of energy and a happy sweet girl! Thank you Chi Dog!!! We are forever customers.

I’ve been using Chi Dog for my pets and we couldn’t be more pleased. Chi Dog saved our Phoebe’s life. She’s had two liver shunt surgeries and wasn’t expected to live. Holistic veterinarian, Dr. Bethany’s personal senior rat terrier Lola suffered from chronic pancreatitis. She was very picky and had recurring bouts of vomiting on prescription low fat dog food. To update you, Chip, my 12 year old, Lab looking mix, is doing exceptionally well. I have noticed more energy and youthfulness, and thinner waist. He still shows signs of his age but has noticeably become more playful and energetic. Beans, my 10 year old labradoodle was often picky and not interested in eating. He would eat grass a lot while on walks and would occasionally vomit up bile, which prompted me to go with Chi-Dog thinking his food was lacking. He had upset stomach pretty frequently. So, the bet gave me some samples of food but he wouldn’t touch them. He’s very picky. I’ve always made his food…chicken rice and veggies mostly. I didn’t know I was giving him too much protein. :/ Anyway, I have tried some other brands of kidney friendly foods and he wouldn’t touch any of them! I’m extremely elated that he is not only eating the food I ordered from Chidog, but devouring it!!! I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. So he’s on the Water diet. Is there a way to change it up a little each month, or are the kidney friendly diets pretty much the same each month? I know dogs probably don’t care about variety, but I was just wondering. I will note this is the first food that has worked well for her. I've tried over 10 different foods and had found one that she could somewhat tolerate - Raw Bistro Dehydrated Turkey; however, she still had loose stool from time to time. She has not had one loose stool since transitioning her to this food. I have noticed a number of the edamame beans (and some carrots) in her stool, so I have been mashing the beans hoping to assist with digestion. This has helped some.

Thank you for your concern and for your food. I have an 11.5 year-old dog with Cushing’s. He has been off of Vetoryl for 2 months now; I think it was slowly killing him despite tests showing normal cortisol levels. He stopped eating just about everything. I started making his food at home; a recipe very similar to your Fire Diet, and after 3 weeks his coat has improved, he looks less “skeletal”, his eyes are brighter, and I think he feels much better. Since we rescued Shelby, our Chihuahua, she has been having GI incidents which were becoming more frequent. No one could find the cause. At 10 pounds these GI incidents were brutal for Shelby to endure. We just went through another series of horrible bloody diarrhea events and after Shelby’s most recent GI incidents, Shelby’s stool continued to be loose, not formed and she was not feeling herself and her stool test on 2/23/23 showed toxic Clostridium diff. Rather than begin a course of Metronidazole and Amoxicillin, we started the change to Chi Dog and made the change very quickly thanks to my consultation call with Dr. Susan at Chi Dog! We saw an immediate improvement in her stool. Within a few days of starting her new Chi Dog diet, we could clearly see a significant positive change in Shelby, like she was a puppy again!. My dogs love this food. One is on the Fire diet and the other is on the Metal diet. I have seen major improvements In both their health and their weight. One no longer has digestive issues and the other has very few (he has IBD and when he has a flare up, now rare, it only lasts hours, not days as in the past). Delivery is great, customer service is great, the product is the highest quality.

Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about my journey with Magic! Since I got him at 9 weeks old, Magic has been really anxious and worried. I did a lot of basic training with Magic, and he’s a smart boy and loves the attention, but he had trouble focusing. Magic also didn’t have much of an “off switch” and was worried about most things. After consulting my vet (at the time) and a few canine behaviorists, a friend recommended Dr. Judy Saik for acupuncture. I could tell a difference after Magic’s first session with Dr. Judy, and she very quickly wanted to change his diet. I cooked for Magic for about a year, and then I discovered Chi Dog. I do believe Magic’s new diet, along with acupuncture and Trazadone, has helped him tremendously! Magic became more settled and focused, which allowed me to do more behavior modification as needed (such as chasing my two house cats). I can’t thank Dr. Judy and Chi Dog enough for allowing Magic to have a much happier and calmer life!

Mika is doing very well on her specialized food therapy diet from Chi Dog. Little Dude, my Chihuahua, is 15 years old and we recently received the tough news that he has kidney disease. As the owner and founder of Pauli&Pets, I’ve always aimed to provide my pets with the same attention and care I offer my clients. For me, every health journey begins with food, and as someone who eats incredibly clean, it only makes sense for him to have the same opportunity.
